Calhoun Woman Arrested For Falsely Reporting Assault

Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports;

Friday night, October 17th, a Calhoun woman reported having been assaulted and stabbed during a domestic disturbance at a private residence on Love Bridge Road in unincorporated Gordon County. Deputy sheriffs who responded to this report noted that the complainant refused medical treatment for what appeared to be a  superficial wound. Deputies also noted inconsistencies in the complainant’s statements, and that the complainant appeared intoxicated. Detectives assigned to investigate the matter subsequently determined that the complainant, Tina Massingill Juarez, age 38, of 2612 Love Bridge Road, Calhoun, Georgia, had fabricated the story of being attacked. She has been charged with making a False Report of a Crime.
