Deputies Arrest Missouri Man For Drug Offenses

Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:

At approximately 3 p.m. yesterday, November 18th, a deputy sheriff patrolling Interstate 75 (northbound) near Calhoun stopped an automobile bearing an Illinois license plate for multiple traffic offenses. The deputy was accompanied by his canine ‘partner’, and a subsequent search of the passenger compartment of the vehicle yielded a variety of illegal drugs: deputies found several ounces of high grade marijuana packaged for resale, opiates, as well as what is believed to be cocaine, LSD, and MDMA, or “molly” a type of methamphetamine. The driver, identified as Charles P. Ducey, age 31, of St. Louis, Missouri was arrested at the scene without incident and lodged in the county jail. He has been charged with multiple counts of violating the Controlled Substances Act/Possession With Intent to Distribute and remains in jail pending bond.
