Deputies Arrest Ohio Woman For Trafficking in Marijuana

Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:

On Wednesday morning, September 10th, a deputy sheriff on patrol on Interstate 75 North stopped a suspicious vehicle for a traffic violation. The deputy, assisted by his canine ‘partner’ subsequently conducted a search of the automobile which resulted in the discovery of over 40 pounds of processed marijuana. The marijuana was hidden in commercial paint buckets in the automobile’s trunk. The driver and sole occupant, Shavonna Marie Pearson, age 40, of Cincinnati, Ohio was arrested at the scene without incident and lodged in the county jail. She has been charged with Trafficking in Marijuana and Possession of Marijuana pending bond proceedings.
