Indiana Couple Arrested For Methamphetamine Trafficking

On the afternoon of June 25th, 2015, a deputy sheriff on patrol on Interstate 75 Northbound near Calhoun stopped a suspicious vehicle for a traffic violation. A search of this vehicle revealed over 1/2 pound of methamphetamine. The occupants, Norman Gregory Jeffers, age 35, and Melissa Sue Meeks, age 35, both of Terre Haute, Indiana, were arrested at the scene without incident and lodged in the county jail. They were both charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and are awaiting bond proceedings.
