“This holiday weekend, I urge everyone in Gordon County to be particularly alert and attentive while traveling the highways. Please don’t drink and drive, or text and drive.
“Let us not forget the real meaning of this Memorial Day. Remember those who serve and have served in our Armed Forces, and most especially those soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of our great nation.
