Sheriff’s Auxiliary Makes Donation to The Winners Club
Sheriff Mitch Ralston Announces:
On Friday, August 28th, the Sheriff’s Auxiliary presented a check for $2,000.00 to The Winners Club. Director Alan Robertson accepted the check on behalf of the local non-profit organization at the Sheriff’s Office. The Winners Club is a service organization for children founded in 1968. The Winners Club is dedicated to “Changing Gordon County for the better, one child at a time”. Sheriff Ralston said, “On behalf of the Auxiliary members, it is a great privilege to be able to help out this wonderful organization. The Winners Club, for many, many years, has had such a great and positive impact on so many lives here in Calhoun and Gordon County. We’re truly pleased to assist them with their mission. Alan and his Board of Directors and staff and volunteers are really great folks, and we hope they are Blessed in all they do for their kids. I also want to praise all of the Auxiliary members who made this possible. Each one of them is a credit to this community.
