Tennessee Man Arrested By Deputies For Trafficking in Cocaine Was Also Wanted By Resaca Municipal Court on Warrant For Failure to Appear in 2013

 

Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:

On Monday afternoon, June 8th, deputy sheriffs on patrol on Interstate 75 (North bound) stopped a suspicious vehicle near Calhoun. A background check on the driver revealed that he was wanted by the Resaca Municipal Court on a 2013 warrant for Failure to Appear. A search of the interior of this automobile also revealed several ounces of cocaine packaged for resale. The driver, identified as one Kendall Donta Pentecost, age 32, of 301 Wilson Street, Winchester, Tennessee, was arrested at the scene without incident and charged with Trafficking in Cocaine in addition to the Failure to Appear warrant. He is lodged in the county jail pending bond.
